IPL coverage should be read within its named competition or team schedule. A season archive, upcoming fixture and in-progress match can share similar team names but represent different records. In an uninterrupted T20, each side has one innings of up to 20 overs. Six legal deliveries make an over, so 15.4 means 94 legal balls rather than 15.4 decimal overs.
A fixture is identified by more than two teams
Use the competition, fixture date and match number to distinguish repeated meetings. Men’s, women’s, A-team and youth fixtures can share country names. A schedule entry should also identify whether the event is a Test, ODI, T20 or another format; the format determines what a complete match involves.
Check the timezone attached to the displayed start time. Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5. As an illustrative conversion, 14:00 UTC becomes 19:00 in Pakistan on the same date. A time already shown in Pakistan time must not have five more hours added to it.
A scheduled start is different from the toss time, actual first ball and restart after an interruption. Multi-day cricket also has a match start date plus individual day sessions. For a tomorrow or tonight query, use the viewer’s calendar date as well as the venue date so that an overseas fixture is not shifted into the wrong day.
